Chatrapur: As a part of its continued efforts to enhance education infrastructure in its operational areas, the Adani Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Adani Group, distributed classroom furniture at Badaputi Upper Primary School located in Kalipalli panchayat under Chatrapur block of Ganjam district.
Adani Foundation handed over a total of 60 two-seater study tables with chairs to school, directly benefit to the total strength of the school which is 120.
In a special programme organised at the school today, Sandeep Jaiswal Business Head, Gopalpur Port distributed the furniture and school bags to the students in the presence of Sanjukta Rath ABEO, Chatrapur Block, Chandramani Patra, Kalipalli Panchayat’s Sarpanch representative, Jayadev Behera, Headmaster, Badaputi UP School, Bhaktabandhu Satpathy, Head IR and Debadutta Mishra Head CSR of Gopalpur Port.
Students were visibly excited to sit and learn on the new table and chairs.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Jaiswal said, Education is the cornerstone of development and by supporting schools in our peripheral communities, we aim to build a stronger foundation for future generations. We will continue to connect with the village community to support their growth and wellbeing, building a lasting relationship rooted in care and collaboration, he added.
Sanjukta Rath, Additional Block Education Office, Chatrapur block said the furniture provided by the Adani Foundation is a great support for classroom learning. I advise all students to study with full dedication which will bring happiness to everyone who supports this school. The initiative aims to create a more conducive and comfortable setting for education, especially in rural areas. The community leaders and parents appreciated the Adani Foundation’s support, saying that the students in the Government school get facilities like those in private schools and we are thankful to Adani Foundation for making this possible.
