Bhubaneswar: Om Prakash Behera from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has achieved a remarkable feat by topping the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 with a perfect 100 percentile score. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results today, listing Om Prakash among the 24 All India toppers who secured a perfect score.
A resident of Bhubaneswar, Om Prakash had been preparing for the exam in Kota, Rajasthan—a hub for engineering aspirants. He secured the 23rd position among the 24 candidates with a 100 percentile score in the examination held in April this year.
Notably, the list of top scorers also includes two female candidates: Devdutta Majhi from West Bengal and Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh.

The NTA has also released the category-wise percentile cut-offs required to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025:
- General Category: 93.10 percentile
- EWS: 80.38 percentile
- OBC-NCL: 79.43 percentile
- SC: 61.15 percentile
- ST: 47.90 percentile
These cut-offs are crucial for candidates aiming to participate in the upcoming JoSAA counselling process, which is expected to begin in June 2025.
About JEE Main 2025
JEE Main is the gateway to India’s top engineering institutes, including NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). It also serves as the qualifying examination for JEE Advanced, which grants admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
For the 2025–26 academic year, JEE Main was conducted in two sessions:
- Session 1: January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 (10 shifts)
- Session 2: April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 (9 shifts)
