OPSC SDIPRO Exam Result Update: Candidates to get grace mark


Cuttack: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has decided to award a grace mark of 6 to the candidates who appeared for the SDIPRO (OIS-II) examination, held recently.

The OPSC’S decision came after printing error was found in the part-B of Journalism & Mass Communication paper.

“It is for information to all concerned that the Commission conducted a written examination of descriptive type for recruitment to the post of SDIPRO (OIS-Il), pursuant to Advt. no-05 of 2024-25 on 29/03/2025 & 30/03/2025. It is detected that there is an inadvertent printing mistake in the marks indicated against Question no- 08,09 & 10 carrying 6 marks each in Part-B of Journalism & Mass Communication Paper,” said OPSC.

“When totaling individual marks indicated against each question of this paper, it c o m e s to 94 marks instead of full marks-100 which is printed on the front page of the question paper,” it added.

“After careful consideration, the Commission has decided to award 6 marks extra to all candidates irrespective of marks secured by them in Journalism & Mass Communication paper of SDIPRO Recruitment vide Advt. no-05 of 2024/25,” the notification read.

According to the updated recruitment calendar, the VV test of the examination will be conducted in June 2025. Thus it is expected that the result of written examinations will be published by June, this year.
