Naveen Jindal leads Tiranga Yatra for success of  Operation Sindoor


Angul: In a remarkable tribute to India’s armed forces and national unity, Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) organized a grand Triranga Yatra at its Angul plant to celebrate the resounding success of Operation Sindoor, a historic and strategic mission that showcased the exceptional professionalism, discipline, and courage of the Indian Armed Forces.

The Yatra was led by Member of Parliament (Kurukshetra) for the third term, Chairperson of JSP and President of the Flag Foundation of India, Shri Naveen Jindal, whose presence added deep symbolic resonance to the event.

The rally proceeded through JSP’s Angul township and concluded at its monumental flagpole — a site of great pride for the JSP community.

Thousands of employees, their families, stakeholders, and local residents participated with fervent patriotism, waving the Indian National Flag and chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.”

This Triranga Yatra was organized to honour Operation Sindoor, which has become a defining moment in India’s modern military history and a symbol of the unprecedented solidarity of our citizens for the cause, as well as the precise strength and invincibility of India’s Defense Forces.

Shri Naveen Jindal, a long-standing advocate for the dignity of the National Flag and a national leader who championed every Indian’s right to display the Triranga with pride and dignity, addressed the gathering with heartfelt emotion.

Shri Jindal mentioned, “Operation Sindoor has greatly boosted our confidence. We are all grateful to the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and the armed forces. Our self-confidence has risen tremendously. Our brave soldiers have responded valiantly, and we are very proud of them. No terrorist can ever again attack innocent citizens. If they throw stones, India will retaliate with bullets. Our country will respond with all its energy and strength.” He announced that JSP and all its employees with their one-day salary will   contribute Rs. 5 cr for the welfare of Army, PF martyrs, families and affected  Civilians families  in the Country.

He added that this Triranga Yatra is a symbol of love and gratitude for the Indian Armed Forces.

The sight of thousands walking together under the Tiranga was a moving display of solidarity and national pride. The event concluded with a ceremonial tribute to the Armed Forces, a cultural showcase by local artists, and reaffirmation of JSP’s enduring commitment to national service and community development. Inspired by this unique initiative, prominent community opinion makers also joined the Tiranga Yatra, lending their voices to the spirit of unity and patriotism. Their participation highlighted the widespread support and enthusiasm for the cause. Together, they strengthened the message of national pride and solidarity. Executive Director (In Charge) of JSP Shri Pankaj Malhan, Executive Director Mr. Damodar Mittal, CHRO Shri Dillip Sihna, and other senior officials were present at this grand event, underscoring the company’s strong leadership and commitment. Together, the Jindalites under the tall leadership of Sri Jindal  celebrated the spirit of patriotism and unity.
