Aditya Padhi Odisha’s new chief secretary

Aditya Padhi to succeed GC Pati

BHUBANESWAR: Putting all speculations to rest, additional chief secretary, Aditya Prasad Padhi, to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to be the new chief secretary of the state government.

Aditya Padhi, a 1983 batch Odisha cadre IAS officer, will succeed incumbent chief secretary Gokul Chandra Pati, said sources.

Pati is to superannuate on ensuing November 30.

However, the formal notification to this effect is yet to be made by the Chief Minister Office (CMO).

Development Commissioner Upendra Nath Behera was in the race to adorn the coveted post.
