Odisha HSC Results To Be Declared On April 27

BSE to register teachers online for smooth evaluation

CUTTACK: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) is all set to start online registration of teachers of all government and recognised secondary schools in Odisha from December 21 for the first time.

About 60, 000 high school teachers of nearly 9, 000 secondary schools will be registered online. The process will continue till December 30, said BSE president Dakshya Prasad Nanda on Saturday.BSE Odisha

Nanda said the registration of the secondary school teachers would be done through www.bseodisha.indiaresults.com/rtet

He said either the headmaster/headmistress or a teacher engaged by him/her would register the names of all the teachers of the school online by furnishing their details.

After the registration, a hard copy of the registered teachers with their signature will be sent to the office of the respective District Education Officers (DEOs), he added.

The concerned headmasters/headmistresses have been directed to submit all the records of the registered teachers in their respective zonal offices by January 4, Nanda said.

“Presently, the records that the Board has on the teachers are about 25 years old. There is no yearly update of these records. As a result, it is difficult for the Board to select the examiners at the time of conducting HSC examinations and during valuation,” said the BSE president.

Apart from this, the Board had no specific data about teachers and the subjects they were teaching. Considering all these aspects, the Board, for the first time, has decided to have online registration of all government and recognised secondary schools from this year to overcome these deficiencies, the BSE president informed.
