Odisha BJP To Elect New LP Leader On March 13

BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha BJP will elect its new leader of the BJP legislature party (BJPLP) on March 13, said party sources on Friday.

BJP president Basant Panda is now holding the post of leader of the BJP legislature party.
Since one leader can hold one post, senior party leaders including MLAs of BJP will meet on March and elect the new leader to lead in the Odisha assembly.

Besides, the meeting of the new state office-bearers of the party will also be held on the same day.

Odisha in-charge of BJP Arun Singh, Union minister for tribal affairs Jual Oram and union minister of state for petroleum and natural gas Dharmendra Pradhan will attend the meeting.
