Book On Biju Patnaik To Be Distributed Among Students

BHUBANESWAR: After naming several institutions and schemes after former chief minister Biju Patnaik, the BJD government has decided to distribute books among school students on Biju Babu’s biography.

School and mass education minister Debi Prasad Mishra on Thursday informed the Odisha assembly while replying to a written question of BJD MLA Byomkesh Ray.

The minister said the state government had not taken any decision to include the illustrious life of Biju Patnaik in school syllabus.

He, however, said the government is taking steps to prepare a book on the life and achievements of Biju Patnaik and distribute it among the school students.
