Task Forces For Agriculture-based Schemes In Odisha


BHUBANESWAR: The meeting of Agriculture Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of chief minister Naveen Patnaik here on Thursday.

The meeting decided to form a task force for agriculture-related schemes being implemented in the state, said sources.

It also decided for digging up of one lakh deep borewells to augment irrigation potential of the state.

Besides, the agriculture cabinet decided that the subsidy being provided to farmers on seed procurement would be directly deposited to the accounts of farmers.
