All Party Meet To Resolve Assembly Deadlock Remains Inconclusive

BHUBANESWAR: The all party meet chaired by speaker Niranjan Pujari to resolve assembly deadlock remained inconclusive on Friday. The next meeting will be held on Saturday to come out a solution for the smooth functioning of the house.

The Odisha assembly speaker held two meetings with all the political parties to resolve deadlock, but no conclusion reached out.

The leader of opposition Narasingh Mishra even did not attend the first meeting.

Notably, the house has been witnessing pandemonium since last four days over chit fund issue. While the opposition BJP and Congress are demanding resignation of chief minister, minister Sanjay Dasburma and dismissal of chit fund probe panel head MM Das, the ruling party is seeking apology of opposition leader Narasingh Mishra for allegedly misleading the house over transfer of money to BJD account.
