BHUBANESWAR: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday provided Rs 5 lakh assistance to Mandodari Nayak, wife of Raghu Nayak, who had captured Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse.

The chief minister also felicitated Mandodari Nayak here and donated Rs 5 lakh from chief minister’s relief fund after coming to know that her family was living in a precarious condition. She came here with her family to meet the chief minister.
