Pradhan called the government paralysed and incompetent.

“Where from the figure 10 lakhs house constructed for the needy came when a few days ago it was only 3.5 lakh. The state is enjoying power with the central assistances and schemes and swindling people of the state,” he lambasted.

The venues which were visited and kept under consideration are Permit field, Reserve police ground, ITI Ground , ITI field and a field at Naraharipur .

“I have visited several probable venues in connection with Modi’s public address on June  2  and the final decision would be taken  basing on the joint opinion of the SPG and district administration,” said Pradhan.

He further said Modi would be highlighting the success of 26 months of the NDA government during his address  to the public.

While he would  be addressing 6 such meetings across country, Balasore is one of the venues of them, he added.

“Around 2 lakhs people are expected to come to Balasore to hear Modi’s speech. So the arrangements are made accordingly in massive manner. All efforts are being made for the success of the programme,” said Madan Mohan Dutta, the district president of BJP.
