Odisha Govt Approves 3 Projects With Investment Of Rs 874 Cr


BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha government on Tuesday approved three projects with an investment proposal of Rs 874 crore.

The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority ( SLSWCA) meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi accorded in-principle approval to the three investment projects.

It approved the expansion of non-alcoholic plant of Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd at Khurdha industrial estate with a total investment of Rs.500 crore. The project would generate employment for 348 persons.

It also approved a project of P &A Bottlers Ltd, which has proposed to set up 2.50 lakh hectoliter capacity brewery at Balarampur of Dhenkanal district with an investment of Rs.102 crore.

It would generate employment for 116 persons.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd has proposed to set up a Common User Facility center at Dhutra of Jharsuguda district for storage of petroleum products. It would invest Rs.272 crore for the project. This unit would provide employment to around 166 persons.

The Chief Secretary directed the concerned departments to facilitate grounding of these projects by quickening the procedures of various compliances.

He also directed the district collectors to conduct District Level Single Window Committee (DLSWC) meetings regularly and plan for the development of industrial ventures, small and medium enterprises in the district.
