SIT Directs ED To Probe Financial Transactions Of SUM Hospital

Bhubaneswar: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) inquiring into the black money has directed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to probe into the financial transactions of SUM hospital, where 21 persons were killed due to a fire mishap.

Sources said the SIT has also asked the Odisha Police DG to help the ED during the inquiry.

SIT vice-chairman Justice Arijit Pasayat has directed the ED to probe the matter.

Notably, 21 persons have died and over 100 are injured after a fire broke out in the hospital on Monday evening.
