Two More Vigilance Courts To Come Up In Odisha


Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced to set up two vigilance courts at Dhenkanal and Angul district.

“The state vigilance is very actively following the anti-corruption drive. We have opened vigilance offices in every revenue district. We have established two additional vigilance courts in Sundergarh and Cuttack. Two more vigilance courts will also be opened at Angul and Dhenkanal shortly”, said Patnaik attending the valedictory programme of Vigilance Awareness Week at Rabindra Mandap here.

He urged people of Odisha to be watchful against corrupt practices and render full assistance and cooperation to Vigilance Department in detection and investigation of corruption.

He said official processes have been made on-line to bring in transparency and objectivity and enhance public service delivery.

The Chief Minister expressed hope that State Vigilance would live up to people’s expectations and up to its reputation of being one of the finest anti-corruption agencies in the country.
