Narrow escape for Air India passengers after tyre burst at Bhubaneswar airport

Bhubaneswar: Passengers on board an Air India flight had a narrow escape after it suffered a tyre burst while landing at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here on Tuesday.

According to reports, around 157 passengers were on board the Bhubaneswar-bound flight from New Delhi.

The tyre of AI 77 flight burst while landing.

Airport authority sources said the passengers were evacuated safely.

Earlier in August, the Air India flight AI-075 had suffered a tyre burst at the city airport. The aircraft arrived from New Delhi.
