Grasim Chemicals organizes blood donation camp in Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: Grasim Chemicals, an Aditya Birla Group Company, has organized a blood donation camp in association with Lions Club at the premises of PHC (Primary Health Centre) of Ganjam.

Shashank Pareek, Unit Head of Grasim Chemicals, Ganjam Unit inaugurated the camp. As many as 51 people came forward for this noble cause and donated blood enthusiastically.

While encouraging the donors, Pareek said that as a responsible corporate, the company is undertaking a number of CSR activities and it is one of them.

He also said the voluntary donation is the only way of accumulating blood to meet emergency requirements for saving lives of those who are in real need.

In this camp, the doctor of Ganjam PHC Swastik Acharya and staff nurse J. Mirabai Reddy also donated blood.
