SFIO interrogates AT Group chief Pradeep Sethy

Bhubaneswar: A five-member team of Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) on Tuesday interrogated Artha Tatwa  Group chief Pradeep Sethy in connection with multi-crore chit fund scam in Odisha.

The SFIO team interrogated Sethy at Jharpada Special Jail here.

said SFIO Assistant Director Manoj Sahoo said they will interrogate about the violation of Companies Act by Artha Tatwa Group.

Notably, a special CBI court here ordered the SFIO to interrogate Pradeep Sethy, Jyoti Prakash Patnaik, Srikrushna Padhi, Deepak Parekh and Manoj Patnaik for the alleged involvement in the chit fund scam.

The Court has directed the SFIO to interrogate the five accused and submit a report within a month.

All the five were directors in various AT Group companies. AT Group was a major player in the mega chit fund scam in Odisha. All the five are currently lodged in jail.
