2 killed, 16 injured after bus turned turtle in Odisha

Jeypore (Odisha): Two persons including a woman were killed and 16 others injured when a bus turned turtle in Patraput area under Sadar police limits in Koraput district on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Sunita Mohanandia and Benjamin Goladi.

The mishap took place when the driver of the bus lost control over the wheels while it was on its way to Malkangiri from Visakhapatnam.

The injured persons have been admitted to the district hospital.

While the minor injured were admitted at Jeypore hospital, the driver of the bus whose condition is said to be critical has been shifted to Koraput District Headquarter Hospital.

Police have seized the bus and statred investigation.
