Nepal President visits Lingaraj Temple

Bhubaneswar: Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday offered prayers at Lingaraj Temple here on Thursday.

The Nepal President, who is on a two-day visit to Odisha, also attended a woman empowerment program in Bhubaneswar.

Bhandari is scheduled to visit Puri to pay obeisance to Lord Jagannath on Friday.

Puri Collector Aravind Agrawal said a coordination meeting was held with the temple servitors for the smooth darshan of Nepal President in Srimandir.

Police Commissioner Y.B. Khurania said as per the standard operating procedures, elaborate security arrangements have been made for the smooth movement of the Nepal President.
