Ministry reshuffle soon in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday said the ministry reshuffle would be effected very soon.

“Be patient. You will know about this very shortly,” Patnaik told the media persons here.

Governor SC Jamir, who has been on a vacation, would land in Bhubaneswar on Saturday at 8:35 am.

The Chief Minister would leave New Delhi on Sunday to attend anti-Naxal meeting to be held on Monday.

So, the Chief Minister is likely to effect the ministry reshuffle within the next two days. However, it’s difficult to read BJD supremo’s mind as he always keeps the cards close to his chest.

According to sources, Lal Bihari Himrika, Yogendra Behera, Snehangini Chhuria, Sudam Marandi and Pushpendra Singhdeo are likely to be dropped from the ministry during the possible reshuffle besides some young ministers being diverted to connect with masses at grassroots.
