BJP’s door open for people believing in Modi, Shah: Pradhan


Bhubaneswar: A day after Republic TV aired a speculative report on Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda joining BJP, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday said the party welcomes people into its fold who repose faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah.

“BJP’s doors are open to all good persons those who believe in the ideologies of PM Narendra Modi and party’s national president Amit Shah,” Pradhan told media persons here.

Republic TV channel, on Friday, had telecast a report titled ‘Jay Panda joining Team Shah’ speculating the BJD MP is joining the saffron party.

The Republic TV in its official twitter handle also tweeted on Friday, “There have been differences between Jay Panda and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik: Sources to Republic TV”.

On the contrary, Jyoti Prakash Ghosh, political secretary to the Kendrapada MP in his written statement on the day has instantly clarified, “We are not aware of any such development. Moreover, honourable MP Baijayant “Jay” Panda is presently in the UK as an international election observer on behalf of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Mission.”
