Online form fill-up for Plus II exam in Odisha to begin from Nov 1

Plus Two cut-off mark declared: Ravenshaw, BJB most sought after colleges


Bhubaneswar: The first merit list for the junior colleges in Odisha was declared on Tuesday.

Ravenshaw junior college in Cuttack possesses the highest cut off percentage in Science stream with 93.17%. It is followed by BJB junior college which has a cut off percent of 92.67 in the stream.

However, in Commerce and Arts stream, BJB Junior College continued to maintain its dominance with cut-off of 83.60% and 75.33 % respectively while Ravenshaw stood second with 80.67% and 73.67% respectively.

Fakir Mohan College, Balasore (87.17%), Khalikote College, Ganjam (87.67) and Ramadevi Women’s College, Bhubaneswar (85.50%) were the other sought-after top colleges in Science stream.

Cut off marks of other significant colleges in various streams are as follows:

Science stream: Basic Science college (90), RD junior college (85.50), Fakir Mohan junior college (87.17), Khallikote junior college (87.67), Rajdhani college (84.67).

Arts Stream: Ravenshaw junior college (73.67), BJB junior college (75.33), RD junior college (71.67), Fakir Mohan junior college (74), Khallikote junior college (63), Rajdhani college (70.30).

Commerce stream: Ravenshaw junior college (80.67), BJB junior college (83.60), RD junior college (71.33), Fakir Mohan junior college (64.83), Khallikote junior college (68.40), Rajdhani college (76).

The classes will commence in all the three streams from July 6, and the second and third phase cut-off marks will be announced on June 22 and July 3 respectively.
