President poll: BJD’s Surya Patro to attend kovind’s nomination filing

Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD leader and Odisha Food Supplies minister Surya Narayan Patro will be present during the filing of nomination papers by Ram Nath Kovind for the Presidential Polls 2017.

BJD president Naveen Patnaik has already extended his party’s support to NDA’s Presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind.

Ram Nath Kovind will file the nomination papers at the Parliament on Friday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP chief Amit Shah and all top leaders of NDA.

With TRS, BJD, Shiv Sena, JD(U), AIADMK factions and many other parties coming out in support of Ramnath Kovind, he is all set to elect to the Raisina Hill.
