AirAsia now connects Chennai-Bhubaneswar


Bhubaneswar:  AirAsia India is back to where it started on a high note over three years ago with the launch of Chennai as its 17th destination along with the induction of the 15th aircraft.

And this time, the airline is back to the gateway of South India with a bang, solidifying its presence by launching 5 daily flights connecting Chennai to Bengaluru and Bhubaneshwar.

Chennai or Madras as it’s popularly called among its residents boasts scenic beaches, temples, art, music & culture.AirAsia takes pride in being able to fly the people from there.

With the AirAsia group already operating direct flights to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok from Chennai, it expects a boom in inbound and outbound tourism across the region.

Announcing the new routes and aircraft induction, Amar Abrol, MD & CEO, AirAsia India, said, “We ended 2017 on a highly positive note and are delighted to continue the same momentum in 2018. Effective 24th February 2018, AirAsia India will operate 3 daily flights between Chennai and Bangalore and 2 daily flights between Chennai and Bhubaneshwar.
