Bhubaneswar: Odisha Secretariat will remain open on Republic Day and Sunday for the general public to visit the flower garden, said an official on Thursday.
The Secretariat will remain open for the two days from 4 pm to 7 pm to facilitate the public to visit the Odisha Secretariat flower garden, said sources at the Chief Minister’s Office.
General public will be allowed to enter its gates to see the beautifully maintained gardens and enjoy the colourful lighting decorated for the Republic Day.
The State Secretariat will remain open on 26 January #RepublicDay and 28 January from 4 pm-7 pm to enable public to visit the flower garden. Adorned with a large variety of beautiful flowers, the garden is a thorough treat to the senses. Large and small varieties of dahlias and other seasonal blooms like dianthus, chrysanthemums, zinnias and gerberas are the other major attractions at the garden.
Besides, the people will witness the water fountain put up in the middle of the lawn.
