4 detained in two rape cases in Boudh


Bhubaneswar: The Kantamal police on Tuesday detained four youths in connection with two rape cases alleged in two separate villages in Boudh district.

A Class IX student of Kudibahal village complained to police that she was gang-raped by miscreants while she had gone to attend a marriage ceremony.

In another case, a Class X student of a nearby villager under the Kantamal police station alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a classmate many times.

Acting on the two complaints, the police have taken four youths to detention and are now interrogating them.
