Fake Dhamra Port website defrauding job seekers in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Dhamra Port authority has registered a complaint with police against certain unscrupulous elements for maliciously defrauding job seekers through fake Dhamra Port website.

The port authority has filed an FIR with Bansada Police station in Odisha’s Bhadrak district.

“It has come to our notice that certain unscrupulous elements are maliciously defrauding job seekers through fake Dhamra Port website (www.dhamraport.in) and collecting money Rs 400/- in lieu of application fees,” said a release.

It is known from the primary investigation that Godaddy is hosting the website and the fees are being collected through a third party.

Dhamra Port authority requested parents and youths to be cautious and stay away from such fake advertisements.
