BJP seeks removal of four bureaucrats including Pandian

Bhubaneswar: Hours after vandalizing the official residence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s private secretary V.K. Pandian, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday moved the Chief Electoral Officer seeking removal of four bureaucrats including Pandian for meddling in politics ahead of Bijepur by-poll.

The BJP sought the removal of four senior bureaucrats including VK Pandian and his wife Sujata Kartikeyan, IPS DS Kutte and joint secretary Gopabandhu Das alleging dereliction of duty and working for the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD).

Pandian, DS Kutee and Gopabandhu Das are working in the Chief Minister’s Office. Sujata Kartikeyan is working as Mission Shakti director.

BJP alleged that these officers are indulged in the misuse of their official posts in furthering the interests of the ruling BJD.
