After OUAT farmhouse, Jumbo strays into Jayadev Vatika in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: After straying into the OUAT farmhouse here, the elephant has entered into the Jayadev Vatika in the city, triggering panic among the people.

According to reports, a jumbo has barged into the Jayadev Vatika botanical garden last night.

Notably, a large number of people visit every day to the botanical garden for a recreation.

Forest employees have now rushed to the park and are guarding the pachyderm.

According to sources, Vatika authorities have reportedly decided to close the garden for today for security reasons.

It may be noted that a tusker had entered the farmhouse of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology two days back. However, the forest official managed to send the jumbo back to Chandaka forest.
