Council of Ministers, Cabinet meetings ahead of budget session

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the budget session of Odisha Assembly, the State Council of Ministers and the State Cabinet will meet at the State Secretariat here on Wednesday.

The State Council of Ministers is likely to approve the State’s Annual Budget 2018-19.

The Cabinet is expected to discuss some important issues belonging to eight different departments ahead of the coming Budget session of the State Assembly.

Both the meetings will be held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Notably, the budget session will be held in two phases beginning from March 20.
