IPL betting in Brahmapur; 3 held

Bhubaneswar: The Brahmapur police arrested three youth, including an engineering student, on the charge of betting for the Indian Premier League (IPL).

They were arrested while betting for an IPL match in Brahmapur city last night.

Getting information from reliable sources, the Badabazaar police conducted raids at the First Gate and found the three persons betting for the IPL 2018.

The police seized Rs 7.61 lakh and arrested them.

Further investigations are on and the accused would be produced in court soon, said the police.
