5-year girl gang-raped by two minors in Odisha

Jagatsinghpur: A five-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by two minor boys in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district, police said on Thursday.

According to the FIR filed by the mother of the victim at Jagatsinghpur police station, two minor boys aged 11 and 14 have raped her daughter on the premises of their school on Wednesday.

The mother filed the FIR on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, the police have detained the two boys and conducted the medical examination of the accused and the victim.

Sujogya Mishra, Jagatsinghpur sub-divisional police officer, said the primary investigation revealed that the girl was sexually abused by the two boys.

He, however, said the medical examination of the accused and the victim would ascertain the truth.
