Minor tribal girl repeatedly raped for four months in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A minor tribal girl was repeatedly raped for the last four months by a youth in Udayapur village under Patna police limits of Keonjhar district.

An FIR has been filed with the Patna police after she was discovered to be four months pregnant.

The local police arrested the accused identified as Putulu Mahanta.

In another incident, a widow was allegedly raped by a youth in Mangarajpur village under Ranpur police station of Nayagarh district on Tuesday night.

As per allegation, the accused barged into the house of the widow and committed the crime.Police have arrested the accused.

The medical examination of the victim and the accused have been completed.
