Villager critical in wild bear attack in Nuapada

Bhubaneswar: A villager got critically injured when two wild bears attacked him at his village Salihagaon in Nuapada district in the wee hours on Wednesday.

The man had gone to his backyard when two wild bears emerged from nearby bushes and attacked him, said sources.

Family members have rushed him to Nuapada District Headquarters Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Villagers are in a state of fear now as the bears are moving in the nearby area.
