Fake IAS officer held in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha police on Tuesday arrested a man on the charge of duping people of lakhs of rupees by posing as an IAS officer in Mayurbhanj district.

The accused was identified as Rajat Panda of Tihidi area in Bhadrak district. Rajat has many cases pending against him at various police stations in the district, reports said.

He was earlier arrested for his alleged links with chit fund scam.

He has also married more than one girl by posing as an IAS officer.
