IAF Jaguar fighter crashes in Gujarat’s Kutch, pilot killed


New Delhi: A Jaguar fighter jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed in Mundra in Gujarat’s Kutch district on Tuesday morning.

The pilot, Air Commodore Sanjay Chauhan, sustained fatal injuries in the crash.

The jet was on a routine training mission from Jamnagar when the incident occurred around 10:30 am.

The Jaguar fighter took off from Jamnagar and crashed in the Mundra taluk of Kutch district.

A court of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident.
