JEE Advanced 2018 results announced, Pranav Goyal all India topper


Bhubaneswar: The result of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced examination has been released on Sunday.

Pranav Goyal from Roorkee zone secured All India Rank 1 in the JEE Advanced 2018 results. Pranav scored 337 out of 360 marks.

The JEE Advanced 2018 results were announced by IIT Kanpur on Sunday.

Meenal Parakh from Delhi is the topper among girls while KVR Hemant Kumar Chodipilli from IIT-Kharagpur region was placed in the rank seven, official sources said.

Sarthak Behera from Odisha has secured 82nd rank from Odisha.

All those candidates who appeared for the examination can check the results through the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.

This year, 11,279 seats are on offer at 23 IITs across the country.

The examination for admission to the IITs was held on May 20. About 1.6 lakh candidates appeared for the test in two papers; paper 1 and paper 2 while 18,138 candidates have qualified in the examination.

After the release of the result, seat allocation will commence from June 15.

The candidates will have to register for choosing seats and give their preferred options under the Joint Seat Allocation Authority.
