Bhubaneswar: Buoyed by its overwhelming demand in government and corporate sector offices, Pawani Marcom on Friday launched its homecare product ‘Cleaner-G’ in the retail markets in Odisha and West Bengal simultaneously.
Pawani Marcom eyes Rs 20 crore business this year.
Environment-friendly and plastic-free ‘Cleaner-G’ would soon be a name synonymous with homecare products and available in all major retail outlets in Bhubaneswar and Kolkata, said Pawani Marcom Managing Director Gouri Prasad Sahoo.
“This is just the start of a long journey and by the grace of God and our hard and sincere work ethics Cleaner-G will have a pan India presence soon,” added Sahoo.
Pawani Marcom recently upgraded its manufacturing unit with the latest state-of-the-art technology for a variety of home care products. It has recently launched its full range of home care products including ‘Cleraner-G’ in the retail markets in Odisha and West Bengal.
Talking about the company’s expansion plan, Sahoo said, “We have envisioned plans to enhance our production capacity by 20-fold in the next six months which will create employment opportunities for over 500 personnel.”
“We can develop and offer formulations as per the clients’ requirement or match any bench-marked formulations given to us. We have a strong R&D team, and we are equipped with good laboratory set up for development of products,” said Sahoo adding that the company’s USP is its eco-friendly and quality products.
Bhubaneswar-headquartered Pawani Marcom started manufacturing and supply of eco-friendly FMCG home care products in Kolkata in the year 2012 with a prime focus on the corporate sector and supplied its products to various government and high-end private firms. Choosing not to rest on the success of the corporate relationships, the company decided to enter the retail market.
