Odisha govt hikes DA for employees by 2%


Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday hiked the dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees by two per cent.

The state government also hiked Dearness Relief (TI) by two per cent for the pensioners.

The hike will be implemented with retrospective effect from July 1, 2018, said a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

The DA will effectively increase from 7 to 9 per cent.

The incentive is also applicable for work charge employees, teachers and staff of fully government-aided colleges in the state, the Chief Minister’s Office said.
