Odisha likely to receive rainfall under low pressure impact

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall from October 28 under the impact of a low pressure forming over the Bay of Bengal, said Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday.

The low-pressure area over west-Central and adjoining Bay of Bengal is likely to induce rainfall in coastal parts of Odisha and heavy rainfall at one or two places in other parts of the state.

The IMD informed that moderate cold wave condition is likely to prevail over some parts of the state from today.

Weather will remain foggy during morning and evening time. There will be a high-level of humidity during the daytime, it said.
