Odisha is making its youth industry-ready: Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday said that continuous industry feedback was necessary for healthy development of business and FICCI being a 90-year-old organisation has the ability to do this.

While addressing FICCI members ahead of the ‘Make in Odisha Conclave 2018’ here, which is being held in the state from November 11 to 15 jointly with FICCI, Patnaik said that FICCI’s involvement in Make in Odisha Conclave has been a very important contribution.

“I look forward to the continued support of FICCI in the state’s industrial development. Odisha has fixed six focus areas for industrial development in the state,” said the Odisha CM.

He urged FICCI to participate in all these areas.

“Odisha is a pioneer state in skill development. We are making our youth industry ready,” he added.

Patnaik asked FICCI members to plan long-term association with the state.

FICCI President-elect Sandip Somany earlier welcomed Odisha Chief Minister and assured all support from FICCI in the development of the State.
