Official of Sri Sri University shot at, admitted to SCB

Bhubaneswar: An official of Sri Sri University was shot by two unidentified miscreants near Godisahi Netal Chhak under Barang police limits here on Sunday morning.

The deceased person has been identified as Sunil Ranjan Sahoo, supervisor of Sri Sri University’s hostel.

Sources said the Sri Sri University official had gone to Netala Chhak at Godi Sahi in the morning when two unidentified miscreants came on a vehicle and suddenly opened three rounds of fire on him and fled the area.

He was being rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

Sahoo had sustained grievous injuries in his chest and head, said sources.
