Former VIMSAR director Aswini Pujahari joins Congress

Bhubaneswar: Former director of VSS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) Dr Aswini Kumar Pujahari joined the Congress party on Sunday.

He joined the Congress in the presence of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik at Congress Bhawan here.

The PCC president said Pujahari’s joining will strengthen the party.

Notably, Pujahari, who treated cancer patient with table salt, had stepped down as VIMSAR Director on February 9 this year.
