Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday fielded former MP Bibhu Prasad Tarai to contest from Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha Constituency.
Tarai, who joined the saffron party after quiting the Congress, will enter into election against Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Congress’ women candidates Rajashree Mallick and Pratima Mallick respectively in fourth phase election scheduled on April 29.
The party also declared candidates for two Assembly seats.
While Rabi Mallick will contest from
Kakatpur seat, Sunakar Behera will fight from Kendrapara Assembly seat.
