BJP to provide 5 kg rice, 500 gms dal, salt under NFSA in Odisha: Pradhan

Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday said BJP will provide food articles at Rs 1 (5 kg rice, 500 gms dal and salt) to poor people if the party comes to power in Odisha.

Addressing a rally in Choudwar, he said the party will provide the food articles to nearly 3.26 crore beneficiaries under National Food Security Scheme.

 “If BJP is voted to power in Odisha, salary of Anganwadi teachers will be increased to Rs 15,000 per month,” said Pradhan.

He also said the BJP government in Odisha will upgrade all the hospitals in the state and appoint doctors to provide better health care facility.

BJP government will expand the irrigation network in the state through a dedicated fund of Rs 1 lakh crore and enhance cold storage facilities, he added.
