Rahul’s plane developed snag, meeting at Balasore delayed

Bhubaneswar: Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s meeting in Balasore will be delayed on Friday as the private aircraft he was travelling in developed engine snag.

In a Twitter post, Rahul said that due to a technical snag in the plane engine, he was forced to return to Delhi while he was on the way to Patna.

Hence, there will be delay in his arrival at the meeting venue in Balasore.

The Congress president is scheduled to address gatherings in Samastipur (Bihar), Sangamner (Maharashtra) and Balasore.

“Engine trouble on our flight to Patna today! We’ve been forced to return to Delhi. Today’s meetings in Samastipur (Bihar), Balasore (Orissa) & Sangamner (Maharashta) will run late. Apologies for the inconvenience,” Rahul tweeted.
