Second Food Plaza at Bhubaneswar Railway Station inaugurated

Bhubaneswar: The second Food Plaza at Bhubaneswar Railway Station has been dedicated to the passengers on Wednesday.

General Manager, East Coast Railway, Vidya Bhushan inaugurated this Food Plaza at Platform Number-6 of Bhubaneswar Railway Station.

Senior level officials from ECoR headquarters and Khurda Road Division including Principal Chief Commercial Manager of ECoR Ajay Kumar Behera also present on this occasion.

The first Food Plaza is running at Platform Number-1 at Bhubaneswar Railway Station since 2016. The second Food Plaza at Platform Number-6 will provide great relief to the passengers. Earlier, passengers from PF-6 were facing problem to go to PF-1 for their snacks & meals or depending on eateries nearby Station areas.

The 1560 sqft Modern Multi-cuisine Food Plaza at PF No-6 has a capacity of about 50 chairs to accommodate the passengers for their meals or snacks at a time with facilities like air-conditioned hall, music system, TV and CCTV with the option to munch on snacks, chocolates & other food items or sip tea, coffee and juice.

This well furnished Food Plaza at Bhubaneswar Station will operate round the clock (24×7) serving multi-cuisine food and beverage items catering to the needs of the travelling passengers.

Public address system has also been provided to enable the passengers to know about the information on arrival and departure of trains.
