Sex racket in Bhubaneswar: Three women rescued

Bhubaneswar: Sex rackets continue to flourish in Odisha. Sex racket in Odisha has become a booming business if the recent spate of flesh trade rackets is any indication.

The Commissionerate Police on Wednesday busted a sex racket running from a lodge in Bhubaneswar and rescued three women engaged in the flesh trade.

Acting on a tip-off, the Khandagiri police conducted a raid on the lodge in Baramunda area.

The cops also arrested a pimp and owner of the lodge and rescued three women. The women are residents of West Bengal.

All the five persons, including the women, were later taken to Khandagiri police station for interrogation, sources said.

Police sources said they are trying to elicit information on the involvement of other persons in the sex racket in Bhubaneswar.
