Sex racket in Rourkela steel plant quarter, 3 arrested


Rourkela: A sex racket has been busted in Odisha’s Rourkela city while three sons have been arrested for running the flesh trade, said police on Monday.

Police arrested at least three persons from a house in Sector-17 area of the city on Sunday night and rescued two girls engaged in the sex racket.

Police sources said the flesh trade was allegedly running inside a quarter of Rourkela Steel Plant.

Acting on a tip-off, a special team of Rourkela Police raided the place and arrested the queen bee along with two customers.

Two more girls, residents of West Bengal, were also rescued from the quarters. Police also seized several objectionable materials during the raid.

The police are interrogating the queen bee to extract more information on the sex racket in Rourkela steel plant quarter.
